Almost finished with the framing.
Wildflower seeds take off!
I must have timed this just right, because my wildflower seeds are popping! May 31st. Just two weeks after I planted them.
Greatroom
This is the inside of the great room. Pretty cool looking up at the sky. Hard to imagine we will live here one day.
My landscape project
I want to establish a wildflower garden just on the outside edge of the easement. This will soften the transition into the meadow area. We tilled and enriched the soil over the winter. Then on Mother’s Day weekend, I set down seeds and covered with wheat straw. Fingers crossed…I don’t have ability to water this area. Let Mother Nature do her work!
The photo below, shows the area where the septic field will be. We will also make this a wildflower garden. Septic has not yet been installed.
